Lernziele:

Students grasp the topic of strategy development and the development of business models in a digital context. Students are enabled to recognize and develop digital business models and to master the challenges of strategy implementation in the digital age.

 

Content:

The lecture offers a deeper insight into strategy in the digital age and business models that are affected by digitalization and digital transformation. The lecture addresses topics like strategy formulation in the digital context, digital business models and digital business model innovation. The lecture takes a closer look at the peer-to-peer economy and platforms as business models. To dive deeper into these topics, the lecture specifies digital trends, like Big Data, AI and machine learning as well as Blockchain and their influences on business models.
